This is going too quick for my liking..
Anyway,
Today was a family gathering for my grandparents 64th wedding anniversary?!
So I made some of Tanya Burr's milk and white chocolate cookies...
Ingredients:
200g butter (room temperature)
300g caster sugar
1 large egg
325g self-raising flour
a dash of milk
200g white chocolate
200g of milk chocolate
*(In my personal opinion, 100g of each type of chocolate is enough)*
Steps:
1 - Set oven to 200c
3 - Add the egg and mix well
4 - Next add in the flour a bit at a time mixing well between
5 - If the mixture feels too sticky then add a bit more flour, if the mixture feels dry then add a dash of milk
6 - When the mixture feels the correct consistency add in the chocolate chunks (id advise 1cm by 1cm chunks) and mix in
7 - Use your hands to make smallish balls of dough and place on a baking sheet, these spread out a lot so maybe 4 balls per tray
8 - Cook for 10-12 mins but NO LONGER! they will look like they need more but trust me!
9 - Leave on a tray to cool for around 15 mins.
10 - EAT!
Enjoy your treats,
Love,
J x
