Pink Parcel Unboxing

Afternoon lovelies,

PINK PARCEL
Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle. We send you what you need, right when you need it. Plus some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month.

Todays' post is about a fairly small company that does monthly subscriptions for that "time of the month"
Its a pay per month subscription so no signing your life away for 12 months. I also believe this is the only subscription of its kind.

You go onto the website, which is very easy to navigate, choose a brand of feminine products. (either tampons or pads basically). And then put in your dates. Wait for your parcel and your extra goodies inside.
Your first box is £5.95 including postage!!! and all boxes after that are £9.95!

There are also boxes for teens, which I think is a great idea especially starting and to help with that that nerve wracking time.

So...

This is how the parcel arrives through 90% of all letter boxes,

Once you open the plastic packaging,

As you open up the box,
Depending on if you chose pads or tampons, you get 2 boxes of your choice, A "for you" box and a "now" drawstring canvas bag.

The boxes are self explanatory, But the exciting bit is the "for you" box!!!

So this month I got..

- A COCOBA solid hot chocolate spoon £2.75

- A bandzee pack of neon no kink hair bobbles - ?

- A Novus Chamomile tea bag £3.50 for 12

- Organic Surge replenishing facial oil 30ml!!! £23.50

A new motivation!! 💜

Evening my lovelies,

Here's a new type of post!!!

Over the past couple of weeks/months I haven't been as confident and happy as I once was. My energy levels are basically non existent and my motivation to do anything really, including this blog, has just stopped.

I've never been happy with my overal body image and definitely have never felt "healthy". I have been in denial and just put my weight and health down to the fact I'm a mother of a baby that needs my constant care and support even though my son will be 4 in a matter of weeks!!

I don't believe in crash diets and have tried some in the past but couldn't get along with the strict regime. I'm just going to try and eat healthier meals and stop with my sweet and chocolate addiction!!

I don't want to be thin, or a certain size but if I can lose 2 stone by the end of the year I will be happy.

So...anywayyyyyy,

Feel free to join/follow my journey to better health and maybe lose a little on the way!!

I will do my best to post pictures of my meals on:

Instagram @jeskerbaby
Twitter @jeskerbaby

But for now, here's day 1!! 😊

Breakfast:

Muesli with almond milk, raisins, sunflower seeds, linseeds, chia seeds and apricot pieces.

Lunch:

Spinach and baby leaf salad, radishes, pepper, tomato, celery and peppered mackerel.

Dinner:

Barbecue seasoned chicken breast, whole grain rice and kidney beans, and spinach, peas, sweet corn  and broccoli.

See you soon!!!

Love,

Mani Monday!! ❤️

1st mani Monday,

Mermaid inspired nails!

1. File your nails and paint with a base coat to prevent staining.

2. Paint all your nails with a blue/green colour (I used Maybelline color show 120 urban turquoise)

3. Paint over 1 or 2 nails to create an accent nail, (I used Barry m Aquarium - 412 mermaid)

4. Paint a smile line with the aquarium polish on your thumb.

5. Finally, use a base coat to seal in the polish and give a great shine. Et voilà!!

See you soon,

Motivation Monday - January 19th x

Afternoon lovelies,

So it's been a while since my last motivation Monday post as I've been lacking motivation myself.
However, this is my year.

I was feeling like I'd failed with my resolutions for this year. So I hopped onto the Internet looking for inspiration, and found this!!

                 "Mistakes are proof
                                              that you are trying."

I think this sums up January as a whole. We all need a bit of encouragement. Just somebody to say that everything is alright and we are doing ok.
People are trying so hard at the start of the new year to make life changes. And that can't happen overnight.

Mistakes are ok.

Just carry on what your doing, learn from the mistakes and be happy that you are striving to accomplish something.

Be happy, smile and love always.

Love,

LUSH HAUL!!!! x

Hello my little sugar lumps,

So, for Christmas I was lucky enough to recieve a Lush gift card, (eeekk)
Obviously I spent it ASAP!!!

Miranda (Soap):
A fresh and fruity soap to start the year with!
Full of fruit enzymes from fresh kiwi to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin.

Melting Marshmallow Moment (Bath melt):
Extremely sweet and fills the bathroom, infact the whole house, with lovely sugary smells.
It sooths skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth.

Honey Bee (Bath bomb):
This isnt the strongest smelling and the smell isnt good at lingering,
However, it will soothe and cleanse the skin with the honey and aloe vera.

Butterball (Bath bomb):
This is by far my favourite product from Lush,
When the cocoa butter pieces have melted, they leave the skin feeling hydrated and smelling great.

Popcorn (Lip scrub):
Fairly self explanatory but, you take a small fingertip amount and rub over your lips,
It leaves them soft and smooth. You can even LICK it off!!!

Snow fairy (shower gel):
As it was after christmas, this was in the sale!
It smells very sweet and has a lovely shimmer.
It has the same scent as creamy candy bath.

To buy anything from this post - www.lush.co.uk

Hope you liked this belated post and that January is being good to you,

See you very soon,

Love,

Happy new year - 2015 x

So....

I was looking at quotes to sum up new year and put it on here, but instead I'm just going to put my thoughts down.

2014 was possibly one of, if not the most, hard, upsetting and down right terrible years of my life, for personal reasons.
Bad things happened, and I just didn't live.

As cliched as it may seem,
2015 will be my year.

I have so many things I want to achieve, and so many already planned. I feel in a better position this year and ready to tackle things. While this may not matter to some, I felt this a better way of describing the start of a new year instead of a generalised quote.

I have some New Years resolutions, and while not all of them will be discussed on here, one of them is to fully put my time and effort into this blog and to hopefully bring people together and impart some motivation over the future 12 months. I'm not exactly sure where we are going, but...
I'd like to think that you will join me on this journey.

Here's to a better 2015 and good riddance to 2014!!

L - love all the people closest to you.
I - inspire others.
V - voice your worries and problems.
E - enjoy every minute.

And LIVE your life,
You only get 1!!

Love you,
And have a great 2015!!!
